Announcing the 2019 MISP Distance

              Learning Module

The Inter-Agency Working Group (IAWG) on Reproductive Health is excited to announced the newly revised Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Distance Learning Module. This tool aims to increase humanitarian actors’ and partners’ knowledge of priority SRH services and provide the information and tools needed to implement the MISP activities and meet the objectives.

The 2019 version of the distance learning module is based on the 2018 revision of the IAWG Inter-Agency Field Manual on Reproductive Health in Humanitarian Settings, “Chapter 3: Minimum Initial Service Package.” Case studies and lessons learned from humanitarian responses are incorporated throughout this version of the module.

The distance learning module was developed by the Women’s Refugee Commission and IAWG.

About the MISP Distance Learning Module

This is a self-instructional learning module. It is available online and in downloadable and print form. After reading through each unit, the learner completes a unit quiz. The online version of the distance learning module also includes e-learning exercises to reinforce the material in the units and links to additional web-based resources. After completing all units, learners are invited to take a post-test. Those who score least 80% will automatically receive a certificate of completion that can be printed and saved. Learners who do not have access to the online version can email their post-test to info.iawg@wrcommission.org for grading. The module will take approximately 5 to 7 hours to complete.

If you have any questions or feedback to the module, please contact info.iawg@wrcommission.org.

Disclaimer: Please note that the MISP for SRH distance learning module is available free of charge. There is no guarantee of employment with any humanitarian agency upon completion of the MISP for SRH module.
