Dr. Lara Ho

Lara Ho, PhD, RN, joined the International Rescue Committee in July 2007, working in Tanzania, Côte d’Ivoire, DRC, Chad, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, and Switzerland. She is currently based in Washington, DC as the Senior Technical Advisor for Health Research, managing a team who supports a portfolio of research projects in environmental health, nutrition, reproductive health, child health, and health systems. Lara was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia and still serves on the board of Friends of Mongolia, a non-profit organization founded by returned Peace Corps Volunteers. She holds an AB in History and Science from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, a BS in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, and an MHS and PhD in International Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
