Daniella Malave, MPH
Department of International Health
Daniella is a Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health. She holds an MSc in NGOs and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she focused on professional epidemiology and infectious diseases.
Daniella has extensive experience managing humanitarian programs and operations and advising NGOs working in complex humanitarian emergencies. Her fieldwork across 25 countries has primarily been in Latin America, East and North Africa, and the Middle East with a focus on humanitarian public health interventions, cash-based transfers, food security, and WASH.
Some of her recent and ongoing research activities at the Center for Humanitarian Health include projects on large-scale outbreak preparedness for NGOs in humanitarian contexts including COVID-19 program adaptation and analyzing infectious disease outbreaks in humanitarian contexts.
